Genting Trip in August (update)

Is it ok that the trip be on 5 aug (tuesday) to 7 aug (thursday) since a lot of u guys choosed that option? Can u guys that confirm pls sms me by this wednesday (9 july) so that i can book the hotels fast. And no pulling out pls. Thank you.

hi guys! i'm currently blogging from work. lol. i am not supposed to be doing this but since todays' a Monday and there are so few customers, why not!! normally, monday tuesday thurs and fris are very quiet due to the kids having school (with the exception of school holidays). but lots of kuay lohs and japs are here today. when you guys come over to 1 utama, feel free to drop by kiz spots. its next to popular bookstore in the old wing(used to be called twinkles). well, gotta work again. ciao peeps

Hey guys!!!

How are all of you??? I'll be leaving for India next Saturday on the 12 th of July. So please do keep in touch through the blog kay. Will miss all of you. I'll post about my life in India too.Haha.
You guys have been really amazing and I'm proud to be in PM3.Thanks for the memories.Tioman pics are available on facebook. I'll post more soon.

Genting Trip in August

Here are some updates on the Genting Trip. Here are the dates for u guys to choose. Either from 3 aug (Sunday) to 5 aug (Tues) or
4 aug (Mon) to 6 aug (Wed) or
5 aug (Tues) to 7 aug (Thurs)
Can someone pls make a poll for u guys to choose.

It's a 3 days 2 nights trip. We'll be taking the bus from 1Utama.
The room is a deluxe room at first world hotel where there are 2 single beds. However I don't think u guys can pull down the bedsheet based on the picture from genting's website. So i guess there can be 3 ppl in a room.

Hope u guys can confirm the dates by Monday (7 july). Then we can confirm the number of ppl by Wednesday (9 july) and I can book the rooms before I go to HK. Any other suggestions pls put it on the blog or sms me.

Pls choose the time that u guys think is most convenient for u guys. For those that take ktm,maybe u guys can take the ktm to kepong station n maybe my dad can fetch us to 1U(but this depends on the time and day). Or alternatively we can all take a taxi to 1U which was about rm10 before the petrol price hike. ( i dunno bout it now)
We can redeem free bus ride to genting skyway station from 1 Utama only for 12 ppl i guess cause i have 6 coupons while yiyun has 6. Then we can use the genting skyway - buy 1 free 1 coupon.

About the cost. Here are the breakdowns:
Transport: around rm10 gua
Rooms: Free
Food: Depends on what u guys wanna eat. I suggest we buy some instant noddle n snacks for breakfast n supper. Allocate around rm50-rm70 i guess. There r 30% discounts for some restaurant
Theme park: All park is rm51 (got buy 1 get 1 free) so it's rm25.50
Snow world: Dunno whether u guys wanna go or not (got buy 1 free 1) so it's rm8.50
Flying coaster: rm10 (got buy 1 free 1) so it's rm5
Wat else u guys want?Watch movie?Sing karaoke?
So i guess is rm39 + around rm50 for food plus transport around rm10.
it should be around rm100 depends wat u guys wanna eat...

PS: I'm not too sure whether all the coupons can be used on a sunday but I'm sure that the coupons for the rooms can be used on a sunday.

Sunway Lagoon and Genting (and maybe roadtrip to ipoh, sitiawan, and penang)

Im sure tioman was a blast for all of us, and certainly its not the destination but the people around us that make our outings so fun.

1. So, we decided last night that we would have a trip to sunway lagoon on the 19th of july. Its on a saturday, 3 saturdays from now to be exact. The reason for us choosing the 19th of july is because ken can't c... because most people are free on that day.

2. Ken since you cant come for the sunway lagoon trip, im sure you wanna make up for lost time with us, so please organise the genting trip. Preferably you should plan it on a weekday, since its less congested and also because some of us are working on weekends.

3. Nut's proposed roadtrip to ipoh, sitiawan and penang. The plan is we'll go to ipoh, pick ban up and ask him to bring us to all the good food stalls in ipoh! Then we'll go to sitiawan to pick jaclyn up, and ask her to bring us to the good food places in sitiawan!!! (ok maybe not sitiawan =D) Lastly we'll head up north to penang to look for shuling, who will then take us to the best charkoayteow in town.

4. We should definitely go for lunch at sushi king at giant one of these days. This is ken's big opportunity to take revenge on yansheng since yansheng is working as a waiter there. But then again, as a waiter, yansheng has access to ken's food. So i wont mess with him if i were you ken. XD

I know many of you are working, but please try to take time off to go for these trips! Soon all of us will be spread out all over the world, so its important that we make good use of the time we have left!!

Teaching.... A Gay Experience

Hey how ya all homies doin yo...

I am so bored at home, and so finally I got a job. Teaching. Today is my first day as a temporary teacher in SK Taman Megah. I am teaching 3 classes. 5A - BM. 2H - Moral and BM. 1M - Moral. The teacher i m taking over took 2 months of maternity leave. So i ll be doing this for the next 2 months.

Well, its quite ok actually. Basically you need to shout to be heard. Especially in 2H where the students are particularly naughty. All the students, especially the Std 1 and Std 2 students always complain about petty stuff.

"Teacher, he said the F word."
"Teacher, do we need to leave a line?"
"Teacher he beat me."
"Teacher, he poke me with a needle." (What the toot... bring a needle to school???)
"Teacher, she is crying."
"Teacher, he say s-t-u-p-i-d."
"Teacher........"

Like WHAT THE TOOT!!! CANT U ALL JUST SHUT YOUR TOOT UP????

Ok I got quite mad and ask them all to sit down and keep quiet. I cant use shuddup lar lou mei right? Lucky for them. I ask the Std 5 class to bina ayat with 5 words - terbantut, membangkang, and some others which i forgot. They dun even know the meanings. So i had to explain and even gave them a contoh ayat. Guess what? I spent 1 hour doing all that. 1 hour for 5 bina ayat. What the toot???

When i was teaching, 1 girl in 2H cried for dunno what sharing food during recess. The problem is i dunno what the toot is the kids are talking. And i dun even know whether they understand whatever i said. Its like using the same language but I cant understand what they say. Swt.

Another girl from 1M cried also but i forgot for what. Some petty things.

I think if the std 5 class dun pass up their homework i m gonna punish them teruk teruk. Speaking about punishment. I cant cane them. The headmistress warned me like so many times before i taught today. No physical punishment also. Whatever lar. I think i ll just ask them to shake their asses in front of the class (thats what my teacher does during standard 6).

Haihz....I ll just do what i can.

The other teachers are quite friendly and helpful. There are also some trainee teachers who are taking their practical. They are quite friendly too. I saw some ex-DJ teachers teaching there. Good thing they still recognise me.

I think i ll go prepare tomorrow lessons. And I think i ll join the kids in playing football tomorrow after school.
