Class Trip Part 2

The class trip is from 16/6 to 19/6 mon to thurs. The bus will be leaving at 10pm not 11 as previously stated and we have to gather by 9.30pm at Puduraya. Due to the typical malaysian "fashionably late" habit, the time for us to meet is set at 9pm. Please don't be late. The bus will reach Mersing at about 6 am. For those who have concerned parents may elect to call their parents at that time to ensure that you are safe.

There is no exact itinerary set yet, but we will be snorkeling on the second day(i think) checking out of the hotel on Thursday after breakfast, taking the ferry at 8.30am and then the bus back at 12.30pm.

Now for what to bring:

-Clothes: enough for 4 days and 3 nights, amount varies between people. (Except sui poh, who only needs to bring shirt as he said he's not going to wear pants there)
-Swimwear: one should be sufficient. no speedos please. bring googles if you like.
-Undergarments: bring enough to ensure your hygiene.
-Towel: Bring one
-Pyjamas: You can use one pair of shirt and pants for your pyjamas for all 3 nights. no one would see. just don't sleep naked.
-Food: Some of us might get hungry at night or if the meals aren't provided, so bring enough as you see fit.
-Water: normally, the people from the same room would share to buy a large 5 liter bottle of water, but i think the rooms are provided with a hot water kettle which we can boil, but you can bring your own huge bottles of water if you like. just heavy to lug it around.
-Sunblock/suntanning lotion: please bring to avoid sunburn as we are spending extended periods of time under the sun.
-Mosquito repellant: To prevent dangerous mosquito bites.
-Camera: for camwhoring
-Footwear: you can wear shoes for the trip back and forth, but most of the time you'll be using your slippers.
-Toothbrush: you don't want to kill your classmates with bad breath
-Money: we have to pay for one breakfast and one lunch (or more if you decide to go spa or massage or something) so bring enough.

Save one shirt and one pants specifically for water related activities so you don't have to bring too much. To save space on undergarments, wear you swimwear under your shirt or pants instead when going into the water so that you won't have to keep changing undies. Towels should be provided at the room, but you can bring your own one if you're afraid.

For safety purposes, i hope that yuen herng would bring a first aid kit in case anyone gets hurt. Bring maggi noodles and your own drinking water. Snacks or breakfast bars will do nicely as well.
For entertainment, i heard TBS is going to bring his ps2 there. Ken as usual will bring his gambling playing cards and UNO. Important to bring sunblock or else you will suffer. Those who have a volleyball or beachball, please bring them. Thanks.

Finally, joel wants us to pay him by cheque made payable to Ruth Gan. the amount is RM436. Bring the cheque on sunday, no cash please.

Don't be late.
